This policy explains what information Tilkie, operated by INFOWISE LIMITED, collects when you use the Tilkie image protection app for Shopify, and how we use it.
Information we process
- Store information. Your Shopify store domain and the app settings you configure, such as your watermark identifier and protection options.
- Product image data. Images you choose to protect or check are processed to embed or read an invisible watermark. Originals are retained so protection can be reverted.
- Processing logs. Records of images processed, including technical details such as resolution, format, file size, and timestamps, used for detection, certificates, and support.
- Billing. Subscription status is handled through Shopify Managed Billing. We do not receive or store your payment card details.
How we use it
- To provide the service: watermarking, detection, restoration, and generating Chain of Proof certificates.
- To operate, secure, and improve the app, including debugging and abuse prevention.
- To provide customer support when you contact us.
Sharing
We do not sell your data. We share information only with infrastructure providers needed to run the service, and where required by law. Chain of Proof certificates are documents you generate and choose to share for your own enforcement purposes.
Retention
We keep store settings, original images, and processing logs for as long as the app is installed, so that protection can be reverted and detections verified. When you uninstall the app, associated data is deleted or anonymised in line with our standard retention schedule.
Your rights
Depending on your location, you may have rights to access, correct, or delete your data. To make a request, contact us through the app's support option.
